How to Wear Next Season’s Bold Makeup Trends

Orange Lips: Fun and fresh, the color orange made a comeback last season. This cute hue is great for springtime! The best way to work this look is to pair fresh-looking skin with soft pastels. Soft, peachy cheeks paired with orange lips achieve a light, flowery effect. On the catwalk, the brilliant blue eyes of some models were accented by a particularly arresting shade of yellow eyeshadow. The color was worn with pales cheek and lips. The look is somewhat between 1960s mod and 1980s vivid excess. Try it, you might like it!

Blue Makeup: You can pull off this trend a lot easier if you just focus on one thing. Heavily line your eyes with blue, keep your skin very fresh-looking and team it with a fairly nude lip.

From the Runway: A bold, clashing color palette was featured for Ashley Isham’s Spring/Summer ’08 line. Gravity-defying hair sculptures completed the look. It certainly was a Next Season’s Makeup Now, Makeup, Makeup Tips, Beauty Product, Beauty Tips, Make Up, Eye Make Up, Spring Makeup, Summer Makeup, Spring/Summer Makeup, Makeup Trends, Beauty Trendscontrast to the bare faces coming down other Spring/Summer runways! To achieve the look, try purple on the lips, green on the lids and blue in the eye creases.

The matte look for fall faces will continue into Spring/Summer. As MAC Senior Artist, Caroline Donelly, commented, "as your skin doesn't tend to look its best when it's shining and sweating, it's great that wearing powder and blotting your skin's back in.” Credit: www.divavillage.com/
